ARMAND MARSEILLE; a bisque head doll, no.341/4, with sleepy eyes and closed mouth, cloth body with celluloid hands, height 40cm.Condition Report: Her eyes do reticulate, but the lids have been repainted at some point. Marks and scuffs to the head, but no obvious cracks. Possibly not on the original body. One hand is missing a finger. The cloth body is stuffed with woodchips and is in need of tlc.

Antique doll ; Fine Antique Simon and Halbig 1329 Asian child, cabinet sized doll 12” with original head wig and jointed tinted body. Face is finely modelled all original with amber tinted bisque socket head , brown glass eyes open/close, original earrings in pierced ears, with open mouth and has no seen damage or repair. The wig and pate are original. (The garments are not original and have been made to fit the doll). (1)

Antique doll French Bisque BeBe Depose Jumeau 16” Fine socket Head doll c 1885. Marked with incise Depose Jumeau era ,and added H and a V (5) artist check marks to neck. A good Emile Jumeau with smaller cut eyes, paperweight eyes , Original Jumeau Fitted wig and cork pate and all original wooden painted body with straight wrists and sprung coil firm neck fitting. Excellent face painting with small dimple and Philtrum in the mould , pressed bisque head with ears applied( pierced), The doll is dressed in antique clothes and shoes and some lingerie. The Body is marked Jumeau medaille D’Or-in blue print on the rear torso Paris . The condition of the head appears free of any damage cracks or striations and the pate and wig and original Jumeau. The body has some paint losses but is all original as is the whole doll. Made at Montreuil Sous Bois near Paris c 1882-1885.
Antique Doll French Bisque BeBe Depose Jumeau 19” Fine Socket head doll c 1885. Head is incised DEPOSE JUMEAU on neck and m and V1 artist check marks in coral painted. The head has deep paperweight beautiful eyes, finely painted features , wig and all original Jumeau medaille D’Or Paris marked body wooden Body and the original cork pinned pate, and an original hair bow still pinned in the wig in celadon silk colour.The doll has applied ears with pierced earrings and a pair of earrings and necklace stamped J and some chemise and lingerie that are now worn.( there is a knit dress which is part perished and is included) Truly Magnificent doll from The great Emile Jumeau era from Montreuil Sur Bois c 1885. The doll has a firm head sprung coil fitting and the body will benefit from the stringing being tightened. The head does not appear to have any damage or repairs to the head.
