Antique French Fashion doll c 20” ; Likely Jumeau; Marked 5 to each shoulder only. Bisque head has suffered damage and is cracked as shown and is stable as hairlines . Bisque swivel head on kid edged shoulder plate , fixed cobalt glass original spiral paperweight wyes and deep eye liner , feathered fine brows and closed sealed high bow lip paint. The body is original and is articulated and is poor as shown with patches on seams through the last 130+ years ,and is stiffened -see all images. The arms have all fingers as do feet and remains of original leather shoes. The wig is original on a cloth biding and is all attached to the inset Cork pate within the head cavity-pierced ears are all intact without earrings Whilst remarkable serene and beautiful demands restoration or repair , Includes the original blue edge gown and poplin apron , slip and chemise and bloomers original to the door .
