A collection of eight mid 19th century Victorian silhouettes & daguerreotypes. The lot comprising four silhouettes, including one with charcoal sketched embellishment, and two daguerreotype photographs and an ambrotype, all depicting the same noble lady, as well as one ambrotype depicting two ladies. One silhouette marked to verso Wm. Seely artist, Witney; another silhouette with contemporary ink reading ' Mrs. Smith (Mary Carey) Widow of the late Rev. G. Smith, who died at Market Street in 1808. Mary Smith died in 1818 and was buried at the chancel at Studham with her husband'. Each presented in original or near original frame & glazed. Largest to measure approx. 15cm x 12cm.
