A Monte-Carlo Dashboard Royal Air Force Issue Stopwatch, signed Heuer, Monte-Carlo, circa 1960, lever movement, black dial with a 60 second track, outer fifths of seconds track, 1/5 second recorder, large 60-minute register hand and hour disc aperture, case with PVD black coated over steel, case sides with RAF military marks 6B/520 9604 board arrow 2894 HTL 1/2, case back stamped Heuer Leonidas SA Swiss, 54mm wide see illustration In the 1960's rally cars used a combination of the Heuer Master Time and Monte Carlo. These stopwatches were later issued to pilots in the Royal Air Force on the fast jets in the 1960's and 70's. 22.06.21 PVD coated surfaces with scratches and chips in parts, winding crown and pusher is rubbed in parts, case back with some dents, some dirt mark to the glass, dial surface with dust particles, dial luminous markers have nicely aged and slightly discoloured, hands are stained, stopwatch functions are working, in going order.
