NATIONAL TIME RECORDER CO. LTD; a clocking-in timepiece, the chapter ring with Roman numerals, the case with transfer printed glazed door above a cast brass shelf, on plinth base, in oak case, height 97.5cm. Additional InformationThe timepiece is not currently in working order and the movement sits too high so the mechanism does not sit flush with the winding apertures. No key, frame with general wear and scuffs. Attention will be needed.

Pair: Petty Officer J. Frankish, Royal Navy General Service 1962-2007, 1 clasp, Malay Peninsula (JX.820228 J. Frankish. P.O. R.N.); Royal Navy L.S. & G.C., E.II.R., 2nd issue ((JX.820228 J. Frankish. P.O. H.M.S. Egeria.) mounted as worn, extremely fine (2) £140-£180 --- Joseph Frankish was born in Bridlington on 2 April 1931, and joined the Royal Navy as a Boy 1st Class on 18 March 1947. He specialised as a Surveying Recorder and rose through the rates to become Petty Officer (SR1), retiring to pension on 4 May 1974, aged 43. Sold with M.O.D. letter confirming service details including service aboard the Dampier surveying ship during the Malay Peninsula campaign. He received his L.S. & G.C. medal in April 1967 whilst serving in the inshore survey craft Egeria.
Four clocks comprising a mid-19th century rosewood and mother of pearl inlaid drop dial wall clock with painted dial and eight day striking movement, 'The Kosmoid Time Recorder' set in a later oak case, a 19th century drop dial wall clock, the case with painted finish, enclosing an eight day striking movement by Seth Thomas - Boyce & Sons of Exmouth, and an oak cased clock with a 19th century eight day striking movement with later RAF commemorative panel and figure (4)
