Bases warped in placed. The two pieces of silver are heavily tarnished, with light signs of wear and use, some scratches, ok overall.

A VICTORIAN SILVER-MOUNTED GLASS PEPPER GRINDER, by John Thomas Heath & John Hartshorne Middleton, London 1886, the bulbous glass bowl raised on a spreading circular base. 9cm highCONDITION REPORTMarks clear and well struck. Also stamped 'CLARK. / 20 OLD BOND ST.' to foot rim. Grinding mechanism to underside stamped 'PEUGEOT FRERES BREVETES S.G.D.G.' and 'DÉPOSÉ'. Appears to be in working order. Some bubbles/inclusions to glass middle section, small crack to top just to left of collar hallmark. Ebonised knop to handle. Light surface marks and scratches to silver throughout commensurate with age and use
