A late Victorian silver double spouted cream jug, a novelty pepper mill and a Canadian silver mounted blue sugar basin and spoonfirst London, 1888, George Fox, of plain bellied form with twin leaf capped reeded handles, interior gilt, second Birmingham, 1934, Hukin and Heath, in the form of a coopered milk churn and with Peugeot Freres grinder and, third of tapering from, the frame stamped 925 by Roden, plain tapering form, the spoon stamped Sterling Viking and bearing initials, (4)first height 9.1cm., weighable silver approx. 5.32oz.Condition: First knocks and dings to body, light rubbing to gilt. Pepper mill with dings and knocks, grinder untested. sugar basin in good condition

A Verica Stater from the Chawton Hoard (2012) Atrebates and Regni, Verica (10-40 AD), Stater, class 4 [Warrior Rex type], com.f on tablet, rev. warrior on horseback right, holding spear, vi above, rex below, 5.26g (Sills 363 var.; ABC 1190; BMC 1146ff; S 120). Good very fine and clearly struck with the reverse legend omitting the r of vir £1,200-£1,500 --- Provenance: found as part of the dispersed Chawton Hoard (Hampshire) in 2012 (PAS HAMP-6DFB33) It is possible that this coin was struck from a very late reverse die with the r missing; this variety is not noted by Sills. The curved crescent behind the horse, normally referred to as a lituus also closely resembles a woad grinder.
