A late 19c French carriage clock in glazed brass corniche type case embellished with lines of horizontal beading above and below the dial. The movement is stamped for Roy & Co and strikes on a gong and has a silvered lever escapement. The circular white enamel dial has Roman numerals and Arabic outer and minute figures and has a plain matt gilt mask. The clock is complete with leather covered travelling box, the clock 7.5" tall with handle raised.

A c.1900 French repeating carriage clock, the swing loop handle above rectangular white enamel dial set with subsidiary dial and with Roman numerals to the main dial with eight day movement set with twin barrels, contained in travelling case, height of clock 13.5cm. CONDITION REPORT: There is an outline of an inscription on the dial which has been rubbed away, no damage to the dial and the case has surface scratches as you would expect, otherwise appears good. The outer case is heavily worn.
A Brass and Enamel Quarter Striking and Repeating Alarm Carriage Clock, circa 1890, with carrying handle and repeat button to the top, blue champleve enamel borders and bevelled glass panels, underside with selection sonnerie lever, silvered chapter ring with Arabic numerals, alarm dial below, twin barrel movement with later platform lever escapement, quarter striking with two hammers onto two gongs, 15.5cm high over handle, with outer travelling case 10.12.12, Case with scratches, lacquer is discoloured and rubbed to the surfaces in parts, blue enamel is missing in parts around the case, bevelled glasses look complete, dial has faded and signs of rust to the dial edge between 9 and 10 o`clock position, movement with a later added platform escapement, movement looks dirty and needs cleaning, sonnerie is striking but not working correctly at present, balance is working and is in going order.
