A Victorian silver centrepiece bowlHunt & Roskell, London 1882 Modelled as Pliny's doves, the four birds perched on the edge of the bowl, one drinking, two preening and the other keeping watch, on a square base, height 28cm, diameter of bowl 36.5cm, weight 157.5oz.Footnotes:The design of the current lot is based on a mosaic found at Hadrian's Villa at Tivoli in 1737. This was later reproduced by his successors Hunt & Roskell.A similar centrepiece bowl by Hunt & Roskell, London 1874, was sold in these rooms on 21st November 2012, lot 114.This lot is subject to the following lot symbols: ** VAT on imported items at a preferential rate of 5% on Hammer Price and the prevailing rate on Buyer's Premium. For further information on this lot please visit Bonhams.com

Gerhard Richter 1932 Dresden - lebt und arbeitet in Köln Ohne Titel (5. Mai 1998). 1998. 29,6 x 41,8 cm (11,6 x 16,4 in). (Quelle: Deutsche Presse-Agentur) [SL] Aufrufzeit: 11.12.2020 - ca. 18.01 h +/- 20 Min.
