A nineteenth century Sitzendorf mantel clock. Surmounted by a winged cherub and flanked by a pair of maidens supporting a garland and raised on a rococo style scrollwork base. With enamel dial having Roman numeral hour markers and Arabic minute markers. Housing an eight day Lenzkirch movement with anchor escapement and chiming half hourly on a bell. Underglaze blue mark. 42cm high. Condition Report. To be used as a guide only. Left hand figure with a crack through her mid section ut has not been broken from the case. Expected losses to the applied work. Mechanism is functioning, bell missing nut. Flat chip to the glass.
