Blattapplikation; die Büste wurde ursprünglich mit einem Gegenstück zusammen als Paar von Johann Joachim Kändler zw. 1753 u. 1760 im Auftrag Augusts III. von Polen/Sachsen für die Meissener Manufaktur entworfen; das Kinderbüsten-Paar, auch als "de Bourbon"-Kinder bezeichnet, stellt 2 früh verstorbene Enkelkinder Augusts III. dar (Prinzessin Marie Zéphyrine von Bourbon/Frankreich (1750-55) u. Prinz Louis Joseph Xavier, Herzog v. Burgund (1751-61)). Es sind 2 von insges. 11 Kindern (darunter auch der spätere Ludwig XVI. v. Frkr.) des Louis Ferdinand de Bourbon/Dauphin v. Frkr. (Sohn Ludwigs XV., 1729-65) und seiner 2. Gemahlin, Prinzessin Maria Josepha v. Sachsen (Tochter Augusts III., 1731-67); die hier vorliegende Ausformung erfolgte in Anlehnung an Meissen durch die thüringische Manufaktur Sitzendorf; berieben, Blüten/Blattstaffage bestoßen; Höhe 16 cm; blaue Manufakturmarke u. Ludwigsburg: Auf unregelmäßigem Sockel mit Rocaillen ein stehender Knabe, Eier aus dem Korb fallen lassend, um 1765, Modell von Joseph Nees, rückseitig undeutliche Doppel-C Marke, im Boden Presszeichen 'R', '1', '50', aufglasurrote Malermarke für Dominikus Christoph Sausenhofer, Pinselnummer '1070'(?)in Blau. Sitzendorf: Auf quadratischem Sockel stehendes Mädchen mit Felsstütze, einen Eierkorb und eine Blumengirlande haltend, 20. Jh., unterglasurblauer Manufakturstempel. Ber., part. rest., min. best.
