The red lady is in good condition. The lady with the fruit has a chip to the shawl bow. The smallest gentleman has a small chip to his hat and cup. The smallest ladies head has been off. Otherwise, overall good condition.
SITZENDORF; an ornate ceramic framed three branch girandole mirror decorated with cherubs and moulded flowers throughout, approx 83. x 44cm.Additional InformationThe sconces have been re-glued into the recesses. There are chips to the foliage, too many to mention individually. Firing cracks and general surface dirt. Rubbing to the gilding. Now mounted on a wooden back plate.
A large Victorian clear glass dome on ebonised stand, height 72cm, a cranberry glass lustre with clear drops, a shell card with Madonna and Child, a floral decorated Derby plate, a Staffordshire loving cup (af) and a lidded vase decorated with panels of shipping scenes amongst floral sprays, Sitzendorf-type marked base (lid af) (6).Additional InformationThe stand for the dome heavily worn with some chips and losses. Dome itself has some nibbles and fritting to the base as is usual, almost all of the gilt decoration to the lustre has gone and some further small chips and nibbles. Shell has general wear. Derby plate with rubbing to the gilt and painted decoration. The loving cup badly damaged with one handle been off and crudely repaired and further cracks to one side. The lid of the vase cracked and poorly repaired, the actual body of the vase itself appears ok although some of the gilding has been redone as it is rather clumsy in execution refer to illustrations.
