The Clangers (2015 BBC Series based on Oliver Postgate and Peter Firmin original) - the original hero screen used 'Travelling Shop' space vehicle from the episode 'Travelling Robot Salesman' (S3 E14). Metal, resin and other construction, painted in silver with a deliberately weathered appearance. Based on the classic Airstream Caravan design, the 'Travelling Shop' contains many of the items visible within the episode still affixed to the shelves. Access via a removable panel to the rear, affixed by magnets. Lights and electronics fitted, but are untested (please see important sale notes regarding electrical components). Twin engines are fitted to top, along with a satellite dish and aerial. Survives in excellent production used condition, having recently been cleaned. A custom made base and metal plaque are supplied to aid display. Measures approx: L60cm long x W34cm x D37cm.
