Das Säckchen liegt in einer durch etwa 200 Blatt (etwa die Hälfte des gesamten Büchleins) reichende Ausstanzung. - Mit Texten der beteiligten Künstler und von Rolf Jährling, die Photos stammen von Ute Klophaus. - Innen gut erhalten.

Vorausahnend und warnend hat Capek hier bereits im Jahr 1924 die Geschichte der Atombombe vorweg genommen. Ohne Zweifel sollte der Roman als "Atomutopie" verstanden werden. Ähnlich visonär und wegweisend wie sein 1920 veröffentlichtes Drama "R.U.R.", in dem erstmals das Wort "Robot" verwendet wurde. - Unbeschnitten. - Leicht gebräunt, Titel mit gelöschtem Besitzeintrag.
