Literature Leslie Hayward & Paul Atterbury Poole Pottery, Richard Dennis Publications, page 39 for a pair of facing roundel flanking central Christ figure exhibited at the British Empire Exhibition, Wembley 1924 exhibition, and then installed at the Mortuary Chapel, Mary Abbots, Kensington Infirmary. When this site was re-developed these panels were returned to Poole Pottery and erected at the factory in 1989. Lalique & Design 1860-1945, Bonham's London, lot 160 for another pair of roundel acquired from John Adam's family, the family house at Broadstone in 1956.
