A 1970 Morris Mini Cooper S Mk III, registration number EVG 115H, chassis number X-ADI/150923-A, engine number 12H/397F/348, red. Manufactured between March 1970 and June 1971, the Mk III Cooper S is one of the rarest of all Cooper derivatives, with only 1,570 being manufactured before production ceased. In line with the other Mk III models the body was revised with concealed door hinges, larger rear lights and new front grille. This matching numbers Cooper S is an early example having a build date of June 1970, just 3 months into production. As such it has some of the earlier Mk II's features including toggle dashboard switches and dashboard ignition switch. Having had only two registered keepers from new (both resided in Suffolk), the first owner registered the Mini on his personal registration 30 RHW and kept the car until 1978. On selling the Cooper to its second owner a Mr John Mills from Beccles, he retained his personal registration and the Mini was allocated the period registration EVG 115H. Our vendor purchased the car in 2015 direct from Mr Mills, removing it from Mr Mills's garage where it has been in store since approximately 1990. EVG 115H was then sent to Mini marque specialists, Coopers Garage, Mildenhall for a full restoration retaining as much originality as possible. The restoration took approximately 18 months and was completed in December 2016. During the restoration the shell was stripped back to bare metal and new Heritage panels were let in as necessary, retaining the original body numbers, before a full respray was carried out. The engine which sports a period Osseli special tuning cylinder head was fully rebuilt. The hydro-suspension and all running gear were also fully rebuilt and all bright work was restored to a similar high standard. The original interior has been sympathetically restored to retain as much originality as possible to retain some period charm. The Cooper sits on period Dunlop alloy wheels shod with Dunlop S/P tyres which certainly suit the sporting nature of the Mini. This rare and quite unique Mini is offered with a Heritage Certificate, verifying it's matching number status, a V5 verifying Mr Mills as the second owner, past MOTs and tax discs ***(but no original handbook)***. The vendor who resides in America has taken the reluctant decision to sell his Mini due to a change in plans which now means that he will not be returning to Britain and he does not wish to export the car to the States. This fully restored Cooper S now offers an opportunity to purchase a rare Cooper without all of the inconvenience associated with managing a full restoration. V5, no MOT See illustrations
A 1969 Morris Minor Pick-Up, registration number SKR 131G, chassis number MAU5257925, cream. This rare Morris Pick-Up has been restored by the vendor's engineering company and is presented in cream coachwork with a black vinyl interior. During the refurbishment the body was stripped and repaired with new metal let in as necessary before a full re-spray in cream. The canvas tilt was made and fitted by Larry Piper, the respected car trimmer from Sparkford, Somerset, over new hood hoops manufactured by the vendor. Further works include the fitting of Minilite style alloy wheels (originals will be supplied), a side exit exhaust and general servicing. Since finishing the rebuild, the vendor has used the Morris to attend local shows and road runs, adding approximately. 500 miles to the odometer in the past two years. The Pick-Up will be offered for auction with a history file containing receipts and previous MOTs. V5C, MOT to August 2017 See illustrations

1939 MG SA Tickford Drophead Coupe As a result of MG's sale to Morris Motors in 1935, rationalisation was the company's priority during 1935, and all new models shared as many parts as possible with other members of the burgeoning Nuffield Organisation. First off the stocks was the all-new 2 Litre (subsequently dubbed the SA). It was a large car by MG standards that was only available as a four-door Saloon at launch, but subsequently offered in Tourer and Tickford Drophead Coupe guise as well. Power came from a tuned version of the straight-six Morris QPHG OHV engine, initially in 2288cc form but later enlarged to 2322cc - the 75bhp output was sufficient to endow the MG with a top speed of up to 85mph. This right-hand drive SA Tickford 3 position Cabriolet was manufactured in 1939 and we are informed that the engine, gearbox and axles are all 'part' restored and the frame plus body are in 'good' shape finished in primer with the work taking place in the 1980's before 'SA2896' was dry stored. Offered for sale by its long-term keeper the MG is offered with its import paperwork. A rewarding and interesting project.
1923 Morris Oxford 'Bullnose' Tourer This delightful-looking `Bullnose' Tourer was the subject of an earlier restoration in c.1981, and comes complete with photos of the work carried out, as well as a large history file that includes: the original instruction book, brown log book, various invoices, plus a collection of old tax discs and MOTs. It is believed the venerable Morris featured in the `House of Elliot' TV programme and its characterful presentation includes period badges and various running board-mounted accessories. The model of `Bullnose' offered broke cover in September 1918. It was longer and stronger than its predecessor and capable of transporting up to five passengers. Initially it was powered by a 1548cc engine manufactured by the British branch of Hotchkiss. This was increased in capacity to 1802cc during 1923. The Oxford name reflected the city in which the car was built and the `Bullnose' moniker stemmed from the distinctive rounded top of the model's radiator.

Morris Minor “Split Screen” Rolling Restoration Project 1953 - This suprisingly original “Split Screen Moggy” is an ideal candidate for restoration, given that it starts and moves under its own steam. So mechanically you are half way there. Body wise it has never been got at so no nasty bodge jobs to get round first. The current number plate has been removed and it now has a non-transferable age related plate with the new V5. While doing this process and prior to being told that being a pre 1960 car it does not require an MOT to transfer the plate, the vendor had carried out the structural welding underneath that the car required for an MOT.So no not a weekends work but well worth the effort to restore, or if not just tidy up and use as is.

JAPANESE FLAG SIGNED BY ATOMIC BOMB FLIGHT CREWMENAn items rarely seen signed by any Enola Gay or Bocks Car crewmen, a World War II silk Japanese flag, approx. 33" x 29", bearing the following signatures: PAUL TIBBETS who adds "Pilot 6 AUG 1945"; Capt. CHARLES D. ALBURY who adds: "Co-Pilot 'The Great Artiste' Hiroshima Aug. 6, 1945 'Bocks Car" Nagasaki Aug. 9, 1945" and further adding a sketch of the atomic bomb dropped on Nagasaki, labeled by him: "'Fat man; Nagasaki Aug. 9, 1945"; THEODORE "DUTCH" VAN KIRK who adds: "Navigator - Enola Gay 6 Aug. 1945"; and "MORRIS R. JEPSON" who adds: "Weapons Test Officer Enol;a Gay 'Mission'". Additionally, the latter three signors have all added the phrase: "Victory Over Japan Aug. 1945" at the red center of the flag, and their signatures are very early, far-predating their "mass-signing" days, Flag bears some stains and aging.
