A United States Navy - A U.S.N. Mk1 machete, the hilt form comprising a two piece black plastic grip secured to a thin tang by four flush-ground steel rivets. The underside of the pommel projects rearwards. The blade is extremely long and gently curved with a single edge which broadens towards its wide rounded and upturned prow point. The blade is stamped with the Collins' trademark a hand gripping a hammer, emerging from a crown, above the emblem "U.S.N.
