An English Delft Drug Jar, early 18th century, of globular form with cylindrical spout, on tall conical foot, painted in blue with the label S:VIOLAR within a scroll cartouche surmounted by a basket of fruit flanked by two putti playing trumpets over an angel apron and floral swags, 19cm high Two hairline cracks to rim, one by handle 5cm long, one by spout 4cm long.
