An Egyptian alabaster ointment jar of slender form and upper rim with two handles in ribbon alabaster, possibly late period ancient Egypt 664 - 332BC together with another Egyptian alabaster kohl pot. These pots were large enough to allow a finger to be dipped into the pot, the contents then applied to the face. This pot has the residue of blue contents still inside (large pot 8.75cm and smaller 4cm).
