A 1/2 size model "Associated" single cylinder horizontal hit and miss hopper cooled gas engine with twin cast iron flywheels, contact breaker, spark plug, fuel tank with tap, automatic inlet valve, glass cylinder oiler, polished brass exhaust, carburettor, bronze connecting rod with red lining, red finish with black flywheel spokes, mounted on polished wooden box base with ignition connections under, complete with drawings.
A pair of Regency style ormolu and patinated bronze figural candlesticks, in the manner of Humphrey Hopper, each with a patinated muse figure holding a pair of gilt sconces with anthemion designs, raised on a black marble plinth with an applied tied acanthus wreath above a sub-plinth, 39cm (15in)
