(1) Piece of white cloth, coarsely cut to 100 x 8.5 cm, stamped 'nul=0' in black ink. Undated. Unknown function but possibly used in a Zero happening as a sash or headband. (2) Gold coated matchbox, 5 x 4 x 0.7 cm, printed 'armando henderikse henk peeters schoonhoven'. Interior holds 20 matches, a printed 'O' and the text 'Close Cover Before Striking.' Undated. (3) Groep Nul= O, New Years greetings 1966. Harmonica sheet with die cut hole, 6 x 6 cm, folds out to 30 x 6 cm. White paper with black text on recto, silver paper on verso. Text reads 'group O =nul, meilleurs voeux, best wishes, auguri, 't beste, 1966'. Signed in print by Armando, Henk Peeters and J.J. Schoonhoven. Some age toning, else a fine and rare copy. (total 3)

High Numbers/The Who: A Rare Railway Hotel 'Tuesday R & B Club' Membership Card, 1964, numbered 894 in blue ballpoint, expiry date stamped 5 Jan 1965, unused and near mint, 4in x 11in (10cm x 28cm) when folded out Footnotes: Provenance: From the collection of Richard Barnes, who was Pete Townshend's sixties art school flatmate. Barnes ran the Railway Hotel in 1964 where The Who had a residency. It was at this historic venue that Townshend first smashed his guitar and where managers Kit Lambert and Chris Stamp first met the band. Barnes was the Who's first official biographer with his best-selling book 'The Who: Maximum R&B', first released in 1983. The High Numbers played regularly at this venue in north west London, the club having been initiated by harmonica player Cyril Davies, a pioneer of British R & B. It was here that Christ Stamp and Kit Lambert first saw the band, and also here that Pete accidentally damaged his guitar on the low ceiling above the stage, prompting the band's destruction of their instruments. A 1914/15 TRIO TO 2586 PTE W CAREY R LANC R Trio correctly impressed 2586 Pte W Carey R Lanc R.With Princess Mary Tin, Cap Badges, Trench Art Harmonica and an envelope for the medals. Henry Miles First served in France with the Middlesex Regiment; later, he was transferred to the 2nd/6th North Staffordshire Regiment. He was taken prisoner of war during the German Spring Offensive in March 1918. William Carey was born in Ulverston in 1894. He worked as a Draper and resided in Ulverston, joining up there on the 8th of September 1914. He first served in France with the 4th Bn Royal Lancashire Regiment, landing there on the 3rd of May 1915. He transferred to the Military Foot Police on the 23rd of February 1917. He survived the war and was discharged in March 1919
