John Lennon owned and played Hohner 64 Chromonica Harmonica, 1970 A 64 Chromonica 4 Chromatic Octaves Professional Model harmonica made by M. Hohner Germany, owned and played by John Lennon when he appeared on Joe Franklin show on the New Jersey station WOR in 1970. The harmonica was given to the host after Franklin asked Lennon for a memento of his appearance. Significantly Lennon used this same harmonica on Franklin's show when performing the song Memory Lane. The Harmonica comes in its original manufacturer's box. The harmonica is accompanied by two letters of authenticity. The first on Joe Franklin Productions headed paper explains the full story behind Lennon's appearance and giving of the gift. The letter has also been notarised by a representative of the State of New York. The second letter is from a Richard Ornstein, the producer of the Joe Franklin, confirming that he witnessed Lennon giving the Harmonica as a gift.£1,000-1,500US$1,800.00-2,700.00

Lenkiewicz (1941-2002) “Busker”, Edward Pike playing guitar and harmonica Vagrancy Project signed, inscribed and dated 1971 on the reverse oil on canvas130 x 62cm., with painted overlap and in a glazed frame. * The present work is a fragment from a huge painting entitled “The Apotheosis of Albert Fisher” executed circa 1970 in the artist studio hostel called Jacob”s Ladder. ** Albert Edward Ernest Fisher, “The Bishop”, was asked by Lenkiewicz to open the Vagrancy Exhibition. Lenkiewicz called him an extraordinary and tragic figure who was alcoholic and slept rough most of the time. He would tearfully recite the poetry he learned by rote at school and could quote large sections of The Ancient Mariner; “The Albatross sleeps on the wing, I sleep on the wing!”. The original painting, now lost, showed The Bishop rising into the air with the local policeman and dozens of figures beneath.
