A 20-BORE FLINTLOCK BRASS-BARRELLED BLUNDERBUSS FOR RENOVATION, UNSIGNED, no visible serial number, circa 1775, with 15 1/4in. barrel, flared and banded muzzle, moulded band at breech with a flourish of scroll engraving extending forwards from the centre, London proofs and maker's mark 'I.W.', borderline engraved slightly radiused lock (corroded), the cock-spindle sheared off flush with the plate (cock absent), the mainspring detached internally and broken the wood below the lock, bridle-less frizzen, walnut handrail banana full-stock (large loss to wood forwards of lock), carved apron around the top-tang, brass furniture including feathered floral side-plate and provision for ramrod (absent).

V644/1331, WITH BAYONET, circa 1810, with Tower proved round 39in. iron barrel, block fore-sight, moulded band at breech, numerous inspector's stamps at breech, solid top-tang with rounded tip, India pattern lock with and earlier style swan-necked cock cut for a dog safe (not fitted) and crown over 'G.R.' stamp below pan, walnut handrail full-stock with brass furniture, the heel-plate numbered '1331' on the top-spur (matching the breech of barrel), rounded side-plate marked 'V644' also matching the barrel but also numbered '209', iron stirrup swivels and button ended under-barrel ramrod, together with an unmarked socket bayonet for same but earlier style.

Flintlock .750 officer's fusil, 49 inch barrel fitted with bayonet lug, unsigned lock engraved with scrolls, handrail stock carved with apron around the tang and light swell around the lower of the four ramrod pipes, brass furniture including sid plate and escutcheon depicting a hunter and game.Section 58 (2) antique / obsolete calibre, can be owned without a licence.165cm overall Condition report: The action does not cock and there is currently no movement to the hammer. The ramrod has been replaced. The barrel has a dark overall patina with pitting. The lock has some pitting and the plate does not sit tightly to the wood as it should. There is a split in front of the lockplate as well as a split running from the lower ramrod tube.
