With a large and three smaller dishes each pierced with scrolls and leaves and with a shaped reed, ribbon and floral border, on a triform stand with leaf chased C-scroll supports, plain branches and leaf quatrefoil feet, mark of Mappin and Webb, Sheffield 1919, approx. 19.5cm high, 41cm wide overall (7 3/4 x 16 inches), 1,870g (60 ozs)

A George V silver epergne, mark indecipherable, London 1913, central trumpet shaped section raised on a circular foot, topped with a bowl with three decoratively pierced panels, three curled branches each supporting a fully marked smaller basket similarly decorated, 23cm high, 19.1ozt Overall in good condition with no obvious signs of repair. Some minor surface scratches, dents and dings as to be expected and commensurate with age and use. With the exception of the maker's mark, hallmarks clear and readable. Stands well on a flat surface with no wobble. Handle to one of the baskets a little out of shape
