ELVIS PRESLEY/BILL HALEY - 10" ACETATE/DEMONSTRATION RECORDINGS. Amazing bundle of 10" 78RPM recordings here to include: Elvis Presley - Heartbreak Hotel (10" acetate double sided recording, printed 'B.F. Wood Music Co.' publishing labels with hand written titles, the other side with Johnny Dankworth Orchestra - Moby Dick) - an extremely scarce recording that would be the first UK 7" release, the record states the US 7" catalogue number on the label (47-6420). Condition is V with some surface marks, a few light scratches and light wear to the aluminium lacquer, an incredible artefact. Also to include an original UK 10" single sided demonstration copy of Bill Haley And His Comets - See You Later Alligator (printed Brunswick 'Demonstration Sample Not For Sale' label with hand written title and catalogue number 88995 - V+ condition with some light surface marks that are not heavier). Complete with this astonishing set of recordings is the original purchase receipt from Foyles bookshop in London showing the price paid for the records; this is dated from 1st June 1957.
