The glass lined frame with two tiers of hanging cut crystal drops and glass arms terminating in molded prism rings, each hung with cut glass prisms.Provenance: New Orleans Auction Galleries, July 28, 2018, Lot 12; Private Minnesota Collection.Height: 37 in x diameter: 29 in.Condition: No major breaks to the crystals. A few small fleabite chips to the edges of the crystals. Not all crystals have been closely inspected due to the size and amount of crystal present. Dust/debris gathered in the recessed areas of the chandelier. Electrical components not tested.

French gilt brass ten branch chandelier, late 19th/early 20th Century, cast throughout with acanthus and ivy trumpets, 90cm diameter (Please note condition does not form part of the catalogue description. We strongly advise viewing to satsify yourself as to condition. If you are unable to view and a condition report is not already available, please ask for one and it will be provided in writing). The chandelier has been wired for electricity (see images). However we would strongly recommend the chandelier be re-wired by a professional electrician prior to use.There are five trumpet flowers missing from just beneath the rim of the bowl (see image). There may be small losses elsewhere but due to the busy nature of the piece, these may not be immediately identifiable to this report. There are minor repairs in places, again these are only noticeable on very close inspection and minor bends to some of the arms.There is general discolouration for the ormolu due to surface grime and age.
