Delightful roccaille chandelier in delicate Meissen porcelain of the Marcolini period, circa 1790, from the residence of King Alfonso XIII in Biarritz. Compositionally and semantically, it is realized as a dynamic plant fountain breaking out of the basket. It is a two-tier structure for 9 candles with a decorative belt, decorated with birds of paradise (canaries) and hanging garlands. The most delicate color of lilac, azure and pink shades of porcelain gives a special charm. French gilded bronze chandelier, made in the style of Napoleon III, is a striking example of the decorative art of the 19th century. This luxurious chandelier with ten lamps is distinguished by its exquisite design and refinement of details. The central massive trunk is generously decorated with decorative elements, from which massive rocal horns extend. At the ends of the horns are shades of frosted glass in the form of lily flowers, giving the chandelier a delicate charm. In the central part of the product there are sculptural elements in the form of winged griffins, symbolizing strength and protection, and the lower part is decorated with Putti figures, emphasizing the style of the era. The upper part of the chandelier is crowned with a blue sphere, decorated with voluminous gilded stars and edging located under the rays of a decorative rosette. The chandelier is electrified. An early 20th Century eight-branch glass chandelier, the eight curved arms with short decorative arms above, the lamp holders have faux candles with a circular cut-glass drip tray and hanging prisms, the arms sweep out from a central cut glass bowl which has a spiral baluster shaped suspension column topped with a small circular basket and drops, and a brass chain and rose, circa 1920, the chain is approximately 35cms in length, the chandelier is 70 x 50cms high.
