FOUR BOXED MATCHBOX 1-75 MODELS, Muir-Hill Site Dumper, No.2, second type, tan driver, grey plastic wheels, rounded axles, Muir-Hill Dumper Truck, No.2, red body, green dumper, black plastic wheels, Laing decal, Cement Mixer, No.3, blue body, grey plastic wheels, rounded axles and Aveling-Barford Tractor Shovel, No. 43, yellow body and shovel, red driver and base, black plastic wheels, all appear complete and in very good condition with only very minor paint loss and wear, Site Dumper and Concrete mixer contained in Moko Lesney type B boxes, other two are in Lesney type D boxes and are both the variant with 'New Model' to the end flaps, all boxes are complete but have minor damage and wear, especially the Dumper Truck box, the type B boxes have the original price written on one side in pencil, the type D boxes have it stamped in ink (4)

THREE BOXED MATCHBOX 1-75 SERIES VEHICLES, Caterpillar Tractor, No.8, Caterpillar Bulldozer, No.18 and Weatherill Hydraulic Excavator, No. 24, Caterpillar Machines are both of the third type in all yellow with metal rollers and green tracks, Weatherill is of the second type with grey plastic wheels, all appears complete and in very good condition with only minor paint loss and wear, mainly to raised edges, tracks and deal in good condition, all contained in Lesney type C boxes which are complete but have minor damage and wear, all with original price written on one side in pencil (3)

He used war surplus materials at first but by 1952 was making tractors of his own design powered by water-cooled MWM engines. Later he developed his own engines and by 1959 they were air-cooled. The success of the tractor business enabled Lamborghini to branch out into motor manufacturing in 1963; the rest, as they say, is history. In 1970 a large order of tractors for Bolivia was cancelled following a coup d'état, hitting the company's finances. Eventually all the tractors were sold, but Ferruccio had decided to concentrate his efforts on his automobile business and in 1973 sold the Lamborghini Trattori company to the SAME group. Lamborghini's tractors are now prized by collectors.Powered by a three-cylinder diesel engine, this Lamborghini crawler tractor was brought to the UK around 10 years ago having previously been in use in a vineyard the South of France. Its original paintwork has a lovely patina and the vehicle is described as 'on the button'. This superb tractor would make a distinctive and welcome addition to any significant collection of classic agricultural machinery, or a unique addition to any Lamborghini collection. After the war's end Porsche was barred from producing its own tractors (only companies that had been making tractors prior to and during the war were permitted to do so) and thus was forced to license its designs to other manufacturers. In 1954 Mannesmann AG diversified into tractor manufacture by acquiring the rights to Porsche's engine and Allgaier GmbH's tractor design, setting up Porsche-Diesel Motorenbau GmbH. In 1956 Mannesmann built a new manufacturing facility at the old Zeppelin factory in Friedrichshafen-Manzell where Porsche tractors continued to be built until production ceased. Over 125,000 tractors were manufactured between 1956 and 1963, many of which were exported, Porsche's agricultural products enjoying the same reputation for sound engineering and superb build quality as their road-car relatives. This Porsche A122 Straddle Tractor is powered by a twin-cylinder diesel engine producing 22bhp. Sympathetically restored recently, incorporating some original parts, it is presented in excellent condition and is 'on the button'.
