Matchbox Superfast 30d Leyland Articulated Truck - 2 x CODE 3 OGLE DESIGN MODELS - (1) military green SCAMMELL tractor unit, red windows, white plastic base with model number 30 cast, military green trailer, 5-arch wheels which have also been over-painted military green. This model has come from the Ogle Design Office. Ogle Design were responsible for the Leyland Commercial Vehicle T45 Roadtrain Cab, as seen here on the Matchbox model. Leyland sold military versions of the tractor unit & 8-wheel rigids badged as Scammell rather than Leyland - Good Plus Unboxed, with modified hand hammered rather than factory finished rivets; (2) red cab without Leyland lettering, red windows, black hand painted grille, white chassis, ivory plastic model No.30 base, metallic silver trailer, 5-arch wheels - Excellent with some white paint to 1 wheels & Tractor Unit base rivets drilled out & the axle clip glued into position; and Corgi Juniors Ogle Reliant Scimitar GTE - body repainted brown & interior repainted black, front rivet drilled out. Rare French promotional issue commissioned by Francine, a French Flour Company as a giveaway to bakeries ordering their products.
