An 1842 pattern French carbine rifle bayonet with ribbed brass hilt, muzzle ring and backward facing quillon, yataghan blade housed with steel scabbard. Blade size approximately 57 cm, 69 cm overall. British Enfield 1856 Pattern Sword Bayonet, two piece black chequered grips, steel pommel and cross guard with muzzle ring. Yataghan blade with fuller, various acceptance stamps to the forte. Housed In its leather scabbard with steel mounts. Blade measures 57cms, overall 70 ½ cms. Some wear to the blade and surface pitting to the metal fittings.
