Pair of French Model 1866 "Chassepot" (Yataghan) Sword Bayonets. One with scabbard which is marked to spine "WM". Part of the contract which was ordered by Defense Nationale in 1866 from the UK maker William Milward. The second, without scabbard, is marked to spine of blade "St Ettiene 1875".

Late 19th century, a collection of four French bayonets A Yataghan sword bayonet for use on the 11 mm M1866 Chassepot needle-fire rifle, engraved "Mre. Imple. de St. Etiennes 1868"; together with a similar bayonet engraved "Mre. Armees de Chat O.bre 1868", in scabbard; a T-back sword bayonet engraved "Mre. Imple. de St. Etiennes March1880"; and a Sword bayonet for the 8 mm. Mannlicher-Berthier M1890. (4) Weapons and armour.
An Antique Turkish Yataghan, a re-curved single edge blade cut with twin fullers, damascened foliate inlay with Islamic inscription to one side of the blade. Bone hilt held together with four rivets expanding to a winged grip with further decorative inlay, black leather covered wood scabbard, silver worked scabbard mount and chape, blade length approx 58 cms.

French Yataghan sabre sword bayonet of the type used by The Confederate Army. Blade length 57 cm, overall length 70 cm. CONDITION REPORT: There is no inscription to the spine. The bayonet and scabbard are in very good condition having been cleaned. The scabbard is tamped “19F”, the blade “13” to the left hand side and a star above a B in an oval and a crown above an M and leaves below in an oval. The crossguard stamped to the right hand side “C144” and to left hand side “D205” and below that “732” and below that “200. There is also an M in a shield shaped lozenge.
λ A Turkish sword (yataghan), characteristic forward curving blade 23.5 in. with narrow back fuller, discrete koftgari type decoration of a roundel to one side and a scrolling panel involving Arabic text to the other, rhino horn hilt with large flaring terminal, brass repousse embellishment covering the grip frame and forming a collar that extends over part of the blade, part scabbard comprising wooden liner and copper locket, 19th Century.

British 1856/60 Pattern Enfield Sword Bayonet, two piece black chequered grips, top pommel stamped 3613 and cross guard with muzzle ring also stamped 3613. Yataghan blade with fuller, various acceptance stamps to the forte. Housed In its leather scabbard with steel mounts. Exterior fittings heavily pitted and worn and grips show wear and damage.
