A Victorian silver three piece communion set, the chalice with knopped stem on lobed foot, flagon with scroll handle and a circular paten, J. E. B. for Walker and Hall, Sheffield 1899 [7.33oz] [3] in fitted presentation case. Further Information The condition of this lot is good. The 3 items of silver are all in good condition, they would benefit from a good clean. The case is in nice condition, it shows signs of wear but nothing major.

John Walker, British b.1939- "Pacifica", 1982; screenprint in colours on paper, signed, titled, dated 82 and inscribed 'P/P' in pencil, 155x119cm: together with three further screenprints in colours by the same hand entitled "Juggernaut", "Rathgoon" and "Sunnyfield", ea. signed, titled and inscribed, one dated 74 and two dated 81, one inscribed 'A/P' and two inscribed 'P/P' in pencil, 103x156cm, 120x79.5cm and 120x79.5cm, (4), (unframed), (may be subject to Droit de Suite) CONDITION REPORT: unframed "Pacifico" creased from handling along the lower edge of the sheet it would appear that the sheet has been pushed up against the end of a drawer which has creased the paper 1cm from the edge of the sheet which does run through the titled but not the signature overall in good condition "Juggernaut" with handling marks within the margin there is a horizontal crease in the right margin the top right corner is dog eared overall good condition "Rathgoon" unframed with a crease in the top margin "SunnyField" unframed with early signs of foxing within the outer right margin overall good condition with discoloured edges overall good condition

General Sir Thomas Fairfax (1612-1671), 3rd Lord Fairfax, gilt-silver Military Reward, 1645, an oval badge, armoured bust three-quarters left, plain collar, leaf border both sides, raised on obverse, rev., armorial shield of Fairfax, Sr THO FAIRFAX Knt FOR KING & PARLmt, 36 x 23.5mm (MI 317/149; Platt II, type C, p. 103). Very fine. The image derived from the portrait by Robert Walker. Fairfax was a leading Parliamentarian general of the First and Second Civil Wars and Lord-General of the New Model Army. He refused to fight against Charles II in the Third Civil War and supported the Restoration. Provenance: Bt. Spink.

Four silver cigarette cases, to include: a rectangular square sliding cigarette case, maker`s mark `JCV`, Chester 1929, with engine turned decoration and applied initials `AMR`, 8.5cm long; a rectangular cigarette case by Walker & Hall, Chester 1936, with engine turned decoration and applied initials `PB`, 11.5cm long; a plain cigarette case by A. J . Zimmerman Ltd., Birmingham 1915, 9cm high; and another silver cigarette case, 513g (16.5 oz) gross Condition: All marks are generally clear. All with light scratches commensurate with age and use. All close well, except for the one by Walker & Hall. This one leaves a gap all the way around.
Five George III silver Old English pattern tea spoons by Thomas Wallis II, London 1790, engraved `DSB`, 13.5cm long; two Edwardian Old English pattern tea spoons by Walker & Hall, Sheffield 1904, engraved with initials, 13.5cm long; four Austrian silver spoons; a George IV silver fiddle pattern spoon by George Piercy, London 1820, engraved `B`, 12.5cm long; and an electro-plated fiddle pattern tea spoon, 14cm long, 260g (8.35 oz) gross weighable. There is no condition report available on this lot.
