A Pair Of Late Nineteenth Century Decorative Figurative Tiles two ceramic tiles, possibly Dutch or Portuguese in origin. Each housed in later wooden frames for wall mounting. The first depicts a man holding a model ship, a young boy at his feet with the sun and sea shown through an arched window to the background. Finished with floral border. The second depicts a mason laying a wall with trowel and pulley system. Painted in naive style, good condition, each tile, 3 x 3 inches approx.
