Doe of Colchester with his ticket spine a bit scuffed folio [London van Voorst] [1871]. ***In 1870 Keulemans issued a prospectus “ `an illustrated work that shall give the results of his own personal knowlege...` He intended to publish twenty parts with 120 plates but in the event only four parts were issued” K&C pp. 19-20.; no title or prelims were ever issued ; the title is supplied from the wrappers found in a handful of copies..
