Railways – Sir Malcolm Campbell rare example of a ticket issued by the Southern Railway Co for the reception of Malcolm Campbell in 1931, the ticket admits the bearer to No 13 Shed only of the company’s complex at Southampton. Campbell had just returned from his world land speed attempt in America.
WWI – Passport good example of a WWI passport, dated October 26th 1915 and issued to a paper merchant named Arthur Rawlin, featuring a passport photograph of him and his wife with the usual personal details. Stamped ‘not valid for the zone of the armies’. Together with a return rail ticket from London to Lyons, presumably used for the trip

Kuelemans (J.G.) [A natural history of cage birds] pt. 1-4 [all published] 24 hand-coloured lithographs by Keulemans pp. 1-113 (114) few minor stains contemporary half green roan by J. Doe of Colchester with his ticket spine a bit scuffed folio [London van Voorst] [1871]. ***In 1870 Keulemans issued a prospectus “ `an illustrated work that shall give the results of his own personal knowlege...` He intended to publish twenty parts with 120 plates but in the event only four parts were issued” K&C pp. 19-20.; no title or prelims were ever issued ; the title is supplied from the wrappers found in a handful of copies..

I never saw so good a Dog”. Among the locations are Mr. Danby`s Egborough Neswick( or is it Keswick?) Blyth & Womersley..
