AN EARLY 19TH-CENTURY BUFF STONEWARE GAME-PIE DISH of oblong form, unmarked, in the manner of Charles Meigh, complete with stand, liner and cover, variously moulded with latticework, the cover finely moulded with ferns and foliage and having a pheasant handle. 21.5cm long overall. Base - sound, cover sound, the dish itself has two small chips, hidden by cover, the liner somewhat discoloured.
