(2) 22.5cm highQty: 2Marks are rubbed, in particular the maker's marks. The drip pans and sconces slightly misshapen. Bruising and dints to the edges of each base. Caledonian Railway porcelain pen and ink stand, advertising Golf with the following on the side THE GOLFING GIRL AND ALL OF HER FRIENDS PLAY GOOD GOLF ON ALL THE GOLF COURSES OF THE DELIGHTFUL DISTRICTS SERVED BY THE CALEDONIAN RAILWAY, DONALD A MATHESON GENERAL MANAGER. The Stand is in the shape of a Golf bag and green with the ink pot being the hole. A rare item, probably used in the Caledonian Hotel in Edinburgh, in excellent condition with makers name W.H. Grindley & Co Ltd to the rear, stands 7in tall.

Ex 4-wheeled DH 230Hp Pacer Class 143, 2-car sets numbered 143601 to 143625, AB numbers 669 to 718/1985 to 1986 If plated in sequence this is ex Set 143611, Cars 55652 or 55677. The initials stand for Light Weight Diesel Multiple Unit. Bodies were built by Walter Alexander of Falkirk and the Underframes by AB. Cast aluminium in as removed condition measures 10in x 8in.
Brass Ships bell stamped NER Co twice on the top. On the inside rim are details of the ship it was salvaged from the shipbreakers. ACT1171 1916 built ammunition carrier finally scrapped in 1973. Admiralty broad arrow stamped on the top. Complete with clapper measures 7 in diameter x 5 .75 in tall and displayed on a hardwood stand. Not only railway interest, but also Royal Navy interest.
