A Charles I English silver seal top spoon The tapered faceted stem with fluted baluster knop, the flat disk engraved with a crest, fig shaped bowl, with traces of gilding, stamped once in the bowl with leopard's head, by IB?, London probably 1629, with later added hallmarks one to the bowl depicting a swan, the reverse of the bowl stamped with a shield shape, lenght 16.4cm, weight approx. 1.8oz CONDITION REPORT: Deep scratch to the seal terminal. Possibly ground at the rim of the bowl, edge of bowl appears thicker than normal. Surface scratching throughout.
