A 58 PIECE SET OF WALLACE STERLING SILVER FLATWAREAmerica, 1941 on“Grand Baroque” pattern; the knives and cake server having hollow handles and stamped on the underside of blade with WALLACE/STERLING HANDLE/STAINLESS BLADE; the remaining pieces stamped on the underside with WALLACE, a moose head, and STERLING. The almost four-piece service for twelve includes: 12 dinner knives (1 longer), 11 dinner forks (1 longer), 12 salad forks, 12 teaspoons, 4 butter knives, 1 master butter knife, 2 slotted serving spoons, 1 serving fork, 1 olive fork, 1 lemon fork, and 1 cake server. Total silver weight 68.2 t oz (2,091 grams). All in a felt-lined rectangular wooden case with serpentine front, one drawer, and three gilt bronze handles.Most of the gilding lost on the case handles; the case itself with scratches and nicks.
