French ladies writing table, in the Louis XV/XVI transitional style, circa 1890, original tooled red leather top ordered within reserves of coronet and fleur de lys in boxwood and harewood against panels of satin birch and maple over a frieze with a single long drawer centred with a circular Sevres style panel depicting rustic lovers within a bleu celeste and gilded border and enhanced with gilt ormolu mounts with a similar panel to the reverse but decorated with playful cherubs and with small oval panels to either side, all raised on ormolu mounted and fluted tapered legs with acanthus cast ormolu caps to the feet, width 32ins
A Superb Quality Regency Period Amboyna Centre/Sofa Table. The top having two rounded flaps supported on fly brackets and measuring 56 ins x 36 ins (142 cms x 91 cms) inlaid with palissander crossbanding outlined in fine stringing dividing the surface into eight oblong panels with rounded corners, and edged in boxwood. The frieze fitted with two drawers either side crossbanded in palissander and retaining their orginal brass knop handles cast with foliate whorls, above an octagonal centre column and four sabre legs edged in boxwood and leading down to the brass lionpaw feet and castors.
A pair of Spode Stone China plates, painted in shades of blue, green and iron-red with stylised oriental flowers, 24.5cm diameter, blue printed marks, painted pattern no. 2054, circa 1815; and a pair of Mason's Ironstone side plates, printed in black and painted in colours with the 'Table and flower-pot' pattern, 18.5cm diameter, printed and impressed marks, circa 1820 (slight wear)
