Lennie, 46 Princes St, Edinburgh of typical construction , with retractable sighting tube, threaded brass cover, contained within leather travelling case -- 3in. (8cm.) diam , James Lennie is recorded as working between 1840-1854 and was succeeded by his widow, Eliza, who continued the business.
