A Ruskin high-fired bowl and stand, in a speckled flambé glaze, the stand with spots of bright copper green, 22cm h, impressed RUSKIN ENGLAND and the date 1923 or 1925 The shape of the bowl, No 495, was one of Howson Taylor's new range introduced in 1923. A similar example is illustrated in one of the factory's promotional postcards.
