Ruskin Pottery - a small shallow high-fired footed bowl decorated in mottled green glaze, 'Ruskin Pottery 1910' impressed mark to base (18.5 cm in diameter)The bowl is in good condition. There are no chips, cracks, hairlines or other significant faults. No restoration. The interior glaze has several tide marks of water residue to the glaze and the surface of the glaze is a little matted from cleaning over time. There is also a small white paint spot to the interior.
An early 20th century Ruskin Pottery vase: stylised double-gourd form with multicoloured trailing glazes (blue, light green, orange and brown), the underside with incised signature 'W Howson Taylor' and impressed 1932 date mark (25 cm high)The vase is in good condition. There are no chips, cracks, hairlines or other significant faults. No restoration. The interior has dirt and water residue encrustation from use. A few small white paint flecks to the exterior glaze, which should be easy to remove.

Ruskin Pottery, a tapered high fired vase, 1913, deep red sang de boeuf with veining, stamped 'Ruskin 1913, 20cm.Condition report:There is a triangular under-glaze chip to the exterior rim, approximately 0.5cm wide. Elesewhere on the internal rim there is another underglaze firing flaw which in the right light looks like a hairline. Small pin point chips to the baseline. No other damages or issues.
Ruskin Pottery, a high-fired vase, possibly 1922, tall cylindrical neck with slightly flared rim, stamped 'RUSKIN England' date stamp partially obscured, 22cm.Condition report:There are burst glaze bubbles all over the glaze, internally and externally, that appear as white pock-marks, but certainly a result of the firing not subsequent damage. One falls across the date stamp making it difficult to determine the exact year. No hairlines, chips or restoration. No crazing.
Ruskin Pottery, a high-fired twin-handled vase, on triangular form stand, stamped 'RUSKIN England 1932', 21cm.Condition report:Vase: no chips, hairlines or restoration. The handles are slightly misaligned but that a result of the firing/ making. Base: no chips or restoration. The underside of each foot has faint lines which may be hairlines but they do not travel to the upper side of the base, and they seem to follow the shape of the foot. They do not catch with the nail, so they could be firing lines, but nevertheless they are evident. The most obvious is near the foot stamped England.
