Kleinere Modelle wurden von Polyphon in Leipzig hergestellt und unter diesem Namen vertrieben, eventuell wurde dieses Gehäuse in Ungarn hergestellt. A 19th century table top polyphon in a walnut case with three bevelled mirrored panels, 41cm wide; together with a large quantity of discs.Condition ReportIn good working order, all teeth present but appears that wo of the tips are missing, case with general knocks and wear commensurate with age.
An early 20th Century walnut cased polyphon with nine discs comprising See-saw No. 84, Parisian Life No. 20, The Hussars Ride No. 82, The Jolly Sluden No. 92, The Fire Brigade Gallop No. 133 and Sarah or a Donkey Cart No. 288, The Cossacks Ride No. 127, Vienna Waltz No. 4 and The Bells of Corneville No. 35, the case 25.5 cm long CONDITION REPORTS Whilst the parts move and a tune plays, it seems to slip at regular couple of second intervals. Requires some attention and one end tooth possibly missing - see image. One foot missing. Very dirty to the interior. Top is split. Areas of veneer, etc missing throughout and heavy wear to the exterior. The paper label to the interior lid has rips and has a couple of holes / sections missing. There is a section of panelling missing to the interior. Panel present has the metal medallion which appears to sit at the back. The front panel is missing - not present. General wear and tear conducive with age and use. See images for further detail.

A late 19th century and later Polyphon type musical box, with eighteen 30cm discs, in a walnut case, case length 51.5cm. Additional InformationThe case has period and later timbers, there has probably been some alterations to the case, and possibly the movement. The crank handle is lacking its turned handle. There is no provenance with this lot. Consigned by a private vendor. The musical pipe is bent at the front and end, this has been bent for some time. It is likely that this originally connected to the mouth of the figure, there is no evidence that a section of the pipe is lacking.

A German walnut coin-operated 19.5in disc polyphon, circa 1880-90, the cabinet with shell cresting and turned pilasters flanking a glazed door, each side with a penny coin slot, with sixteen discs, 69cm wide x 40cm deep x 124cm high.Case shows signs of age including general wear throughout, repair and small loss to top right door spandrel. Top/cornice cresting is loose. Door hinges repositioned and recess cut inside cabinet sides at the top. Chipping around key hole to coin drawer. Evidence of old worm in places. Movement winds and runs. All teeth present and intact. Plays well with a good sound. Coin slots to each side accept penny coins which drop down the shute but do not trigger the movement to play - this will require servicing to remedy. Presumed originally to have been made with a cabinet base but this is not present.

A 19th century oak and walnut cased coin operated Polyphon disc music player retailed by Nicole Freres Leipzig, the double vertical steel comb playing 24.5 inch discs, the carved column floor standing case with pierced pediment and engraved “Drop A Penny In The Slot” plaques to both sides, fall front base housing eight further discs. Fully restored condition incorporating some new timber. Width 87 cms, height 235 cms.
