ROBERT 'MOUSEMAN' THOMPSON OF KILBURN: A PAIR OF CARVED OAK SQUIRREL BOOKENDS, each modelled with seated figure holding an acorn in its front paws, and with typical carved mouse signature, 20cms high (2) Condition Report: one with tiny chip to top of squirrel ear, others to top of mouse ears.
A THOMPSON OF KILBURN 'MOUSEMAN' ENGLISH OAK AND BURR OAK SIDEBOARD, c.1928/1930, adzed, having a raised back with half penny moulding above three indented panels and half octagonal uprights, three drawers to the centre, flanked by a door to either side of four indented burr oak panels, with iron disc hinges, latch with ring handle, arched apron and inwardly curved stile feet, the sides of four and one indented panelling, carved in relief with a mouse to the inner leg, 137cm wide x 48cm deep x 106cm.
