Druckstock. - Johnson, Charles. "Captain Edward England, and his Crew" aus "The History and Lives of all the most notorious Pirates, and their Crews". 10,5 x 8 x 2,5 cm. Wohl London, Edward Midwinter, 1725 (?).Dargestellt ist der aus Irland stammende legendäre Pirat Edward England (bürgerlicher Name Edward Seegar, 1685-1720). Er war einer der beiden Piraten, der die 'skull and crossbones-Flagge' hisste.Möglicherweise handelt es sich bei dem Druckstock auch um eine Arbeit vom Ende des 19. oder vom Beginn des 20. Jahrhunderts. Um hier Gewissheit zu erlangen, wäre eine dendochronologische Untersuchung notwendig. - Wohlerhalten.

A collection of mainly 1930's/50's ceramics including, Midwinter Carlton Ware, Burleigh Ware, etc, also Royal Doulton character mugs, cigarette cards, embroidered and cross-stitch pictures, ornamental items, etc (two shelves) Condition report: Leaf dishes - One dish with hairline and heavy crazing. One dish with a chip, hairline crack and crazing. Two of the dishes with heavy crazing. Two dishes in reasonable condition. One of the leaf plates is Royal Winton, one is Gardenia, the other four are Carltonware.
