Hastings Pottery - Dennis Lucas (1926-1999) - A collection of vintage retro mid 20th century circa. 1960's Dennis Lucas for Hastings Pottery ceramic items comprising of two lozenge shaped serving dishes, a small dish, sugar bowl and pot. Each piece being decorated in a wash glaze in variety of blue shades with feathered effect. Also accompanied by a Midwinter Stylecraft Fashion Shape 4-61 hand painted bowl and a lime green chartreuse colour Carlton Ware with ribbed body. Overall good condition.

Leigh, 1702, printed title, engraved plate of the human body showing the skin and veins, 3 engraved plates or 'visio', with moveable parts, 4 pages of description for the plates, a little dust soiling and light old marginal dampstaining, heavier staining to left and lower margins, but generally in good condition and believed complete with all hinged overlays, contemporary calf-backed marbled boards, rubbed, spine worn and some corner wear, slim folio (410 x 315 mm)QTY: (1)NOTE:ESTC T147736; Russell 697. One of the most elaborate early books with these kind of illustrations ; the plates are copies of the original Latin edition of 1613. Although called 'second edition' there are now three earlier English issues known between 1675 and 1695 and there is one subsequent edition of 1738. All editions are very rare, particularly in good condition. It is not in fact by Michael Spaher, but by Johann Remmelin.
