A 19th Century leather and gilt-tooled album containing miscellaneous topographical and portrait drawings, prints and photographs to include works by or after Samuel Read, Chas E. Hannaford, Henry De Ternant, Jack Merriott, Louis Wain, A. Nisbet Patterson, Herbert Cutner and others, together with a black chalk and white drawing of a classical bust inscribed on mount 'Gainsborough Pupil, W. Jeffs 1790'.
Wain, Louis 2 ink sketches of cats' heads, comprising: a cat winking, 10 x 10cm on a 12 x 17cm sheet; a cat appearing to be surprised, 12.5 x 11cm on a 15 x 12cm sheet, each signed to lower left; a couple of small chips not affecting images, some browning, slight spotting, repairs to reverse, some creases (2)
