Jaeger-LeCoultre, a timepiece mantel clock: the straight-line eight-day duration timepiece movement having a lever escapement set within a Perspex case in the form of an aquarium, with stylised gilded fish within, the dial signed for Jaeger-LeCoultre, height 20 cm.* Biography; Jaeger-LeCoultre were established in 1833 by Charles Antoine Le Coultre in Le Sentier in the Valle de Joux and obtained the current name after the merger with chronometer maker Edward Jaeger in 1937 who, having worked for the firm for twenty years, turned it into one of the finest maker's of watches in the world.
A gold plated pocket watch, signed Omega circa 1920, 52mm wide, a military pocket watch signed Jaeger LeCoultre, circa 1940, case back stamped G.S.T.P broad arrow and numbered F043225, 53mm wide, and a gun metal alarm pocket watch, 53mm wide (3) 05.12.16, the Omega watch case with the engine turning rubbed, surface scratches and small dents, front cover glass is missing, Roman numerals to the front cover with enamel lacking, dial with minor chips to the edges, movement in going order, the second, the Jaeger LeCoultre case is rubbed and discoloured, dial is worn, hands are discoloured and luminous is lacking, movement in going order, the third, the gun metal case is discoloured, dial with hairline cracks, hands with luminous missing, bell is loose, handsetting is not working, movement not working.
A brass atmos clock, signed Jaeger LeCoultre, case with glass panels, white chapter ring with Arabic and dagger markers, large balance below with a stop lever, movement signed and numbered 452257, 22cm high 09.12.16, Brass surfaces are slightly discoloured and with minor stain marks in parts, glass panels are slightly dirty, movement is clean, movement has not been placed on test for its working condition.
