Forest, 17 - 19 Rue de Buci, Paris, scale 1:65,000,000, over a 12 and 24 hour circular dial with chrome apertures and red triangular markers, the 12 hours shaded into night and day, on octagonal and chrome bases, the clockwork movement numbered 4507 and wound through the base, globe 20 cm diameter, 29 cm high in totalI wound the clock before I left on Friday and I am happy to say that the clock is still running (Monday 24th July) and keeping acceptable time. This is of course no guarantee of reliability or accuracy.the gorse have some scratches and some small loses.The lacquer of the rotating chapter ring has oxidised and is flaking off.The base has some oxidation through the finish.The in-line electrical switch is damaged and it looks as if a section is missing, because of this the lighting can not be tested.

Christopher Nigel Lawrence ( active,1969-2003) for Jaeger LeCoultre; a fine and rare silver-cased Atmos Clock, London 1971, this design was one of five designs specially commissioned by Jaeger LeCoultre, the case of extreme horned rectangular modernist form with distinctive bark textured detail to the periphery of the case, fitted a"crown of thorns" fire gilt bezel with integral indices over a lapis blue dial bearing the legend: Jaeger LeCoultre and ATMOS trademark, the facia of the clock with rectangular glazed lenticle to observe the rotation of the torsion pendulum. 15.5 cm wide x 13.5 cm deep x 43 cm overall height.
