A Carl Theodore Golde of Dresden flute, mid 19th Century, of rosewood and ivory construction with nickel fittings, in three sections, stamped mark below a lyre surmounted by a star and a star below, length 70cmNote: C.T. Golde (1803-1873) was a German clarinet maker working in Dresden. It is believed that he made only two flues. A German Third Reich Polizei (Police) side arm, the 33cm single edged fullered blade stamped Clemen & Jung, Solingen to the ricasso with the companies shield insignia to the opposing side, the crossguard and quillon with oak leaf decoration stamped S.Sch. II. 702., the two piece stag horn grips with police insignia and stylized eagle's head pommel, housed in a black leather sheath with plated mounts, further stamped S.Sch. II 702, 72cm.
